Endowment Accounting is responsible for the administration and financial management of the University’s endowments in accordance with University policies. The team manages the creation and maintenance of endowment funds and internal orders (IOs), monitors endowment expenditures for compliance, approves endowment-related journal entries, and processes transfers resulting from guideline revisions, business area changes, and cost center updates.
Endowment Accounting also maintains and supports the System for Endowment Administration Management (SEAM), processes monthly endowment Buy-Ins and income distributions, and administers current-year and future-year endowment budgeting. The team also prepares endowment-related reports and provides ongoing support to promote the accurate, consistent, and compliant management of the University’s endowment funds.
