Supporting Objectives
· Evaluate and assess existing recruitment efforts with attention to staff from historically underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds.
· Review, reconsider and revise strategies and opportunities to increase the retention of staff from historically underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds.
· Evaluate workplace climate regarding diversity, equity and inclusion and identify areas for improvement to increase the retention of staff from historically underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds.
Updates
· On June 1, 2021, the team working on the Office of Finance Strategic Plan Goal #1, sent a request to all OoF staff to update their personal data in Workday. As a reminder to all staff, maintaining updated personal data is an easy and collective effort to have accurate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion data within theOffice of Finance. This data is essential for establishing goals and developing appropriate initiatives for the recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce within the OoF.
